REPAIR +

This body of work was commissioned for Repair + which was also later presented at the exhibition “Heal” as a part of Singapore Design Week 2024. This project explores “mending emotional memories through restorative design in a curation of transformed broken objects.”

The entire project was photographed using a combination of 120 and 135 film. The technique of multiple exposures was explored throughout the project to capture the complexities and the nuances of the relationship between the owner and the object, as well as the addition of the designer who undertakes the role of repair.
